...if your not catholic? I'm not catholic or even religious, but for some reason I really like watching the catholic channel. I think catholicism is kind of romantic because of the prayers in Latin, the rituals, the pope, nuns kneeling at the alter to take there vows ect.. I really like the idea of the virgin Mary, and I even have the Hail Mary memorized. Both my parents were raised catholic, but neither of them are currently practicing it. However I also dissagree with some if the teachings of the catholic church; like how you will burn in hell if your not Christian, and how unbaptized babys go to limbo. Is it normal to be facinated with Catholicism and like watching the catholic channel, even though I'm not catholic and disagree with a lot of their teachings?

Yes! I do the exact same thing. I've always been partial to rituals and fairy tales.

Yes, I think it's odd you'd enjoy something you do not agree with.

It's perfectly normal. I'm personally agnostic, and I'm minoring in religion in college right now because I find all religions to be fascinating. For you, Catholicism is just another interest of yours, like reading or watching television are interests of some people.

i find nothing wrong with you watching the catholic channel even if your not the catholic, but your parents were.
