Is it possible to do a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium on a Packard

Bell iPower desktop? I have a Packard Bell iPower desktop that has came with default Windows 7 Home Premium x64, but due to the conflict that the bloatware of my OEM recovery image causes, I want to do a clean installation of Windows 7 without any additional software (from scratch!)

Is that possible with using the Windows 7 Home Premium x64 .iso file and editing the ei.clg by changing the Channel to OEM? Will I be able to use the Windows as a genuine one and also update it like one then?

I would do it the safe way, get windows 7 ultimate from your local computer shack(best buy, frys or what have you), format, and install it. This way you get control of your system and the access to maintain a registry that will keep your system from bogging out.
