I live in the deep dark country. Really. (ok, well, my parents do) and about a 2 minute walk up the road, there is a clear-cut on either side that the power lines run through. It leads all the way from their house to the, well, not so middle of no where. Specifically, you have to cross this same clear cut to get to these waterfalls my BF and i hiked to last summer. I followed the path on Google Maps, it is the same path, leads from Wirral (where they live) to Welsford (the falls) . Any-who, my BF and i were thinking of hiking it next summer.(Google says it is a 2 hr hike, i am thinking more like 2days) it is a complete clear cut, so an easy hike, and clear ground to camp at night. I was just wondering if it is 'safe'. Would being so close to that much electricity for a few days be good for us?
