Is it true sony is making a portable handheld with ps3 graphics?

Ive read several place that it will have ps3 specs. The only thing that i know about is the PSP phone....info anyone? And if u can, plz put a source. Thanks!

It is called the PSP2 Codename: NGP (Next Generation Portable). It is going to be touchscreen with graphics as close to the PS3 as a small graphics chip can handle. This new PSP features dual analog sticks along with the touchscreen mentioned above. It has backwards compatibility with the previous PSP UMDs. You can find more information at the sources link.

Sort of. It's called the PSP NGP. The graphics aren't as good as PS3, but it's close.

Yes it will be called the PSP NGP (Next Generation Portable) it won't be as powerful as the PS3 as Sony say it'd make your trousers set a light if that was the case, but apparently major titles such as Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, Call of Duty, etc will be available on it... It will also have a touchscreen on the front and a touchpad on the back, it will have head motion tracking, two cameras, two analogs, more memory and a bigger screen, etc... I can't wait as I'm a PlayStation freak :)
