...part-Jewish? In a sense, Christians are full Jews and Christians at the same time because they accept all of Judaism rather than just the first half of Judaism?
 
No Jew would, ever ever ever worship ANYONE but G-d. To worship Jesus is absolute blasphemy to us. To us G-d is one and supreme. No question about it. G-d does not have any offspring. Additionally we do not believe that anyone can die or take on the sins of another. Moreover, jesus did not fulfill our messianic prophecies. Unlike the xian messiah our messiah will not be worship. As I said before we will only worship G-d. So there is no way someone can claim to be Jewish yet worship a human being.

Basically this nonsense known as "messianic Judaism" was started by someone who was a fundie and thought it would be cool to give himself a Hebrew name and then not eat pork or shellfish. What a slap in the face for us real Jews!
 
No. They are Christians and have no privileges whatsoever in the Jewish community. Christianity is not *completed* Judaism -- it is an entirely different religion created from the Torah that God gave to the Jews at Mt. Sinai. They are welcome to become Jews by discontinuing their practice of worshiping a dead leader and by vowing their allegiance to the Jewish people.

you cant be a jew or jewess if you are not born one. but you can have a Jewish heart. which also believes in the God of Israel.
 
Neither is "only being part-Jewish." We Messianic Jews are just as "Jewish" as non-Messianic Jews. The difference is that we aren't bound by Rabbinical oral law, we are bound by God's law ONLY.

I stand beside my brother's DSM and So Jewcy, who are both Messianic Jews. And I reach across to Suckels the Clown of Righteousness, who is grafted into Israel and is also my brother.

Those who wish to demean us and launch personal attacks, are merely jealous of the joy we have found in Messiah Yeshua. One day, they will know Him and bow to Him.

Messianic Jews are not actually Jews. They are really nothing more than Christians that adhere to certain Jewish customs. Also, most Christians do not accept all of Judaism. They believe much of it was fulfilled (done away with) by Jesus. God Bless! +?+
 
That is like saying that Mexicans are better US citizens because they are further south. It is a totally different religion, dude.
 
There is no such thing as "messianic" Judaism; it is not Judaism, it is Christianity.
Those who believe that Jesus is the messiah are Christians.
Jews do not believe Jesus was the messiah, do not believe in the trinity, do not believe one can die for the sins of others, do not believe in the trinity.
All of the above are Christian beliefs.

Converts are considered 100% Jewish!
(I should know; my husband converted to Judaism, and we are Orthodox).
 
No, I'm Jewish and according to Judaism "Messianic Judaism" is not true Judaism at all and those who claim to be Messianic Jews are not really even Jews, its just a Christian group actually.
 
The only sense in which Christians are "full Jews" is in some irrational, fictional way invented by Christians.

Messianic Jews are Christians. Full stop.
 
Messianic Jews are 100% Christian. You can not be Jewish if you think that Jesus was the Messiah. Christians are not Jewish in any way, shape, or form. That's a little insulting. The NT has absolutely nothing to do with Judaism.
 
No. Your logic is extremely flawed. "Messianic Jews" the so-called "Jews for Jesus" are not Jews. They are Christians. Jesus does not figure into Jewish beliefs and teachings at all. Jesus is not accepted by us as the Messiah. Those who do think Christ was the Messiah are not Jews. They are Christians. Period. End of discussion. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

And Christians are not Jews. Get over it.
 
In order to be Jewish you must be Israeli. Just because I believe in Hinduism that's doesn't make me a Hindu.

Christianity is the name given to gentiles that believe in Jesus.

Messianic is the name given to Jews who believe in Jesus.

Those "Jews" that claim to practice anything less of a Messianic belief, are only doing half of what they are suppose to.

I don't care what any Ashkenazi "rabbi" says!

My family has been there for generations, I think we know what we're talking about.

And another thing, No we don't worship Jesus. Adoni is the only one and judge!
 
Messianic Judaism isn't Judaism at all!! You can't believe in Jesus and still believe in Judaism. The two just don't go together.
 
Judaism is not like your dentures where you can have a partial. So, no, Messianic Christianity is zero, null, zip nada not any percent Judaism at all. I see most of your questions are in the Ramadan section. Being Moslem is neither full nor partial Judaism either.

Evangelical Christians don't get to define Judaism even a little tiny part. Moslems don't get to define Judaism either.

For Messianic Christianity to insist it is Jewish is a huge dysfunctional Control Problem.

Messianic Christians who want to learn more about Judaism are fine. Claiming Christianity is Judaism violates a well established boundary line and is 100% plagiarism and theivery. Beware of moving landmarks.There is a Mashiach, and trying to twist the Covenant into something it is not you will answer to a higher authority than any answers here.

And DS M is not and cannot be a "converted" Messianic Jew. No synagogue would ever convert anyone to Judaism knowing that person believes in Jesus! Liars are liars!
