Is Nav/bluetooth and stuff on cars free?

I know you have to pay extra to have the software installed but once it's in the car do you have to pay monthly for the nav system and that kind of stuff? Do some car makes make you pay and others don't? I really don't know anything about how this works, so if you can please tell me which car makes you know charge and which don't (or if none do, etc.). If it helps, I'm looking specifically for Dodge and Ford but I'd like to know about others as well. Thanks in advance!
 
no you dont have to pay for the gps, the only thing you will have to pay for is if you have a serius or xm subscription
