Is the 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS a good beginner Car?

I'm 17 right now and my Dream Car is a 1995 SS. Has anybody got any experience with this car? Can u give me some cons and pros? Here are some points I emphesize.

Handling
Suspension
Easy to park
Reliabilty (Possible engine breakdowns -> expensive aftermarket kits required.)

The only thing that isnt reliable on that car is the "opti spark ignition". There are several aftermarket kits to fix this and theyre around $400. The Imapala/Caprice rides nice, handles well, and has GOBS of power. Overall its an amazing car! Its very safe in a crash too. I wouldnt hesitate to buy one.

I work as a tech for a police agency and the cars the guys miss the most is the caprices! They speak about them like they were sexy ex girlfriends... lol
