What kind of gas mileage does it get?
Does it have good acceleration?
How does it handle in snow/ice?
Was it recalled by Ford?
How expensive is it to maintain?

What about the Escape from other years? Are they any good? Which year is the best?
 
My friend's parents bought a brand new escape in 2006 and they loved it so much that they bought a second one in 08. Good mileage for an SUV with good acceleration and handling in all weather. Good buy. It's a Ford so not too expensive to maintain as it is obviously a very mainstream car company with a very good history and reputation.
