Is the cellphone service, Metro PCS a scam?

This pricing is interesting, especially since there is no contract. Does anyone have any experience with this service? All I've been able to find is people complaining about customer service or the phones themselves, but I'm still skeptical of this service? What say you, Yahooers?

Okay I have metro. There is...and i repeat...absoutly nothing wrong with metro. When I started out with metro I had a sprint phone, because i flashed it. The only thing you can get with another service phone(if it's not from metro), is unlimited texting, and you know unlimited minutes. No internet, no ringtones, blah blah. But just recently my phone broke so I got a phone from metro(the most expensive one almost 300$, slide up razor). You basically get EVERYTHING...FREE! Besides the monthly fee of your plan you choose. Everyone i know has switched to metro. It's the best thing I've ever done... =].

My aunt had it for a year and loves it. Nothing bad about it so far.
I'm actually going with that plan next week = ]
