Is the Honda CRF 230L a good bike?

Right now I have a Yamaha TW200 and I am looking for a bike that is a little bigger. Last week I test drove a brand new CRF 230L and I was really disappointed. I was expecting something that had a lot more power because it is a bigger bike plus its got the narrower tires compared to the TW200. It actually had a lot less power than my TW200. Does it just need some time to break in and loosen up, or could they of had it jetted wrong for our altitude. It also felt very light and cheap which I was not expecting considering the price.
