Is the Jullian Michaels work out dvd's any good?

I am trying to lose 34 lbs before November. And I want to be down to 140 lbs before May. Thats when I get weighed at the doctors. I am going to go to a store that has the Jillian Michael dvd's. And was wondering since I don't got the money for a gym membership. I only have basic cable so no fitness tv for me. But how much does Jillian Michaels 30 day shed dvd cost. And does it have weights that you have to have for working out. I dont have any weights. They are cost like 10.00 each. And I only got money for the DVD.
