If you want to go wireless, you need a wireless antenna that plugs into the usb port on the back or front. Some people call it a dongle. Whatever you call it, it costs $70. Wish I could sell you mine because my house had too much interference from other wireless devices. I had to go with an ethernet cable.
Netflix is a dvd rental thru the mail. Very good service and turnaround time. You can try it out for free for a month. After that you pay $9 something a month. Once you log on to Netflix on your computer and join, you can use the mail to receive movies and when you plug in the blu ray, you register it online and you can download or stream movies to the tv instantly. Most are older movies but with over 800 to choose from, it isn't hard to find a movie.
Blockbuster charges $4 to $6 a movie each time you pick one.
Pandora music is great and you can listen free as long as you don't go over 40 hours a month. A yearly subscription is around $30.
You also get BD live which accesses the internet for extras on some dvd's you watch.
To do all this you need at least a speed of 2 to 3 gb per second to stream the movies. Any lower and the movies can freeze and be annoying.
We love it and use it almost every night. And rent the dvd's in the mail in between. Not Bad for under $10 a month.
I hope I helped, to bad you can't buy my dongle to go wireless. It's doing nothing for me.
