Is there a Bluetooth system that works with an in-ear hearing aide?

A coworker of mine was talking to me about using Bluetooth with his hearing aide (the kind that doesn't wrap around the outer ear, but sits inside the ear), and how it is a pain to take the aide out in order to use BT. So, my question is: Are there BT devices that work well with in-ear hearing aides?
