is there a way to get power dvd for free? after 30 free trial?

i used to have power dvd on my computer it came with it. and one day my computer crashed and everything got deleted including the power dvd. now when I tried getting it back it has a 30 day free trial and then it says buy now when i wanna see dvd. is there a free way to get it? or is there any substitute program I can get for free to see a dvd? I have windows 7.
