Is this a good deal for a mountain bike?

So, I live in Bellingham, Washington. There's a cool downhill mountain nearby called galbraith, I don't get that intense, but I'm starting to feel more comfortable with drops, etc. and my had tail just isn't cutting it, anyone know if this would be a good deal for me?
