...thats been repeated for YEARS? It really seems to me Y!A users don't really listen to news that isn't a mainstream headline. This SAME THING happened last year with the pipe rocket attacks and there was barely any noise about it. Israel has denied the Red Cross access to the Gaza strip more than once in the past 12 months. Does the Red Cross have ties to the Taliban and Hamas? Barely any mention of it on Y!A. Suddenly this story goes up on CNN.com and everyone here is an Israeli historian. Y!A lost a little bit of credibility today. This really makes this site look like a bunch of party line news junkies who cut and paste from FOX and CNN.
libs lack common sense - then why not do what all good western countries have done since the beginning of time? Lie to the people and simply kick all the Palestinians into Iran, Afghanistan or what's now US occupied Iraq? That would solve the problem wouldn't ?

You show yourself to not know much of anything in the way of politics, history or military responses. You question (rhetorically) the Red Cross and their ties. So, please allow me to fill you in a bit.

In Iraq, Iranian "insurgents" had taken an Italian "Reporter" hostage. Other "Insurgents" were wounded doing battle with U.S. military forces. In a behind the scenes negotiation, the Italian government agreed to allow two Red Cross physicians go in and treat the wounded insurgents in exchange for the release of their reporter.

The doctors treated the wounded, the reporter was released from captivity and because the Italians did not want to tell the U.S. (their supposed ally) of the deal, assigned a secret service agent to drive the reporter to the airport where she was to be spirited out of the country. The secret service agent came upon a U.S. road block/check point and tried to run it. The U.S. soldiers manning that checkpoint, using loud speakers ordered the car to stop and when it did not fired warning shots and then fired rounds into the car's engine block. The secret service agent was killed when fragments of the round and engine block exploded into the driver/passenger compartment of the car. The Italians demanded "Justice" and tried in abstantia those U.S. soldiers and found them guilty of "Murder."

The "Red Cross" is an international organization that refuses to recognize right from wrong. They align themselves with no political parties or belief systems. They were willing to work with the Nazis during WW II and were used by them to disseminate false propaganda which ultimately cost more people their lives than they did "good." It's a double edge sword.

This happened after the N Koreans sunk a S Korean Warship, and Hillary Clinton said; The International Community should do somthing about that. Today she is speechless bone-face. What to say really, Israel attacked the humanitarian aid ship 80 Miles away from its waters in self defense??!!

No rational person would ever claim that Israel is innocent. However, anyone who thinks that the ships trying to get past the blockade were for humanitarian aid *only* are being gullible--it is a common tactic to sneak weapons along with food to a region in conflict.
