I have the newest version of iTunes, and it is iTunes plus, so my music that I purchase should be available to me DRM free, correct? I am also logged into my account. I try to play the media in another player, or even convert it, and it says the files are protected. But this is ridiculous, I own them. I legitimately purchased them, and even further than that I have a version of iTunes that doesn't protect songs... allegedly. So what do I do? My player isn't an Apple product, and normally works with free downloads on iTunes (I import them into another player). So my options are to not put the $15 of music on my device, or buy an iPod? This is annoying as hell. If I purchase the songs and they are compatible with my player, nothing should keep me from playing them.
