Growing up in the church, I always heard (and believed) that there were countless fulfilled prophecies in Jesus Christ.
These days I'm a little more skeptical (to put it lightly)... so could somebody humor me and post one of these fulfilled prophecies? What I'm asking for is not a point blank assertion but two Bible passages... the first being the OT prophecy, and the second being the NT reference to the fulfillment of that propehcy. Please give the book, verse and quote.
Thanks
To "The Least of Jesus' Brothers"... I know that many, or most (maybe all?) are extremely vague. I found this as I was reading the gospels - which conveniently give you OT quotes to prove the prophecy.
I was hoping somebody had a good one though.
Mo' Monkeyhead - thanks for your contribution but I'm looking for quality over quantity, and quotes. That's assertions with verse references attached. I guess it's better than nothing - though strange that 'nothing' is the only other thing I've received.
Booth, "read the gospels" is not what I was looking for, as I made clear in the question. I don't see why it should be so hard to come up with a fulfilled propehcy, since so many are supposed to exist.
