job interview last over an hour followed by guided tour is this good?

The interview was very one sided and felt more like they were telling me everything about the role in detail. Before I left I was asked if I was interested in taking up the position to which I replied very much so. They said they would let me know in a couple of days if I was successful.

Ask yourself one question: why weren't they interested in knowing more about you?

Don't for goodness sake send a thank you card - looks way OTT (and desperate!) if you do.

In my job, touring is normal so we can see how candidates react.

We know right away if they are confused by machinery or can say right away what it is. It's secretly a knowledge test
