keep hearing rumors about my girlfriend?

i recently asked out this girl. she is really sweet to me and always has been. since i've been with her i've heard so much about how she may break my heart from friends of HERS. and it's not just her friends, many other people have said that she is a slut, and one person even said she heard she was a gold digger. i mean she has had quite a few boyfriends but i really want to give her the benefit of the doubt. they tell me to be careful cause she may get bored and move on. i don't want to get hurt cause i recently got out of a bad relationship and can't deal with that crap. should i listen to these rumors or ignore them completely?

This is kinda a trust issue I'd say. Cliche, yea yea I know. Seriously though, instead of questioning others, question yourself to see what you think. Yes, I realize how lame it sounds, but look within your heart. Have you hung out with her when she's with her friends? If you have, does she take on a different personality? Is she still really sweet? Have you meet any of her ex boyfriends? If you haven't yet, keep it locked as last result. Be warned, if she finds out that you meet with them to talk about their past relationship, she may want to end your relationship. I'm also sorry about your past relationship, but think of it as enlightenment. Was their anything that happened that contributed to the break-up? Look out for that in this relationship.

ignore them completly, the people spreading them are probley just jealous. Tell her about them going around so she knows about them.

Maybe just sit down and talk to her....tell her how you feel about her and ask her if she's on the same page as you. Tell her you're really into her and you want to see how far this can go but at the same time you don't want to be just some guy. Tell her you need reassurance that she's sincere in this relationship.....that's if you feel comfortable with talking to her about stuff like that...if not then I would just ignore what ppl say and give her a chance.

Ask people in more details what happened. Confirm with this girl to see how she reacts. Then use your best judgement. Very cautious with girls who carry so much bad histories. It is always a good rule to keep your eyes wide open before you give your heart to someone.

if their are a lot of people saying that stuuf i think you should start asking your gf questions, don't let her take advantage of you
