LeBron James is having one of the greatest seasons in NBA history. However, there is one thing that can slow down any player in any sport: injuries. Against the Indiana Pacers on Monday night, LeBron James suffered a finger injury. Although he was able to stay in the game, there are some rumors that later tests suggest LeBron James has a dislocated ring finger on his left hand.
If LeBron James has a dislocated finger, the Miami Heat may opt to sit him for a game or two to make sure it heals. Then again, many NBA players are able to keep playing after suffering a dislocated finger.
The good news for the Heat and LeBron James is they don’t play again until Thursday when they take on the Dallas Mavericks in Miami. By then, LeBron James’ finger injury may be nearly healed.
On the season, LeBron James is averaging 26.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.6 assists while shooting 53.4% from the field.
