I just bought a 2010 Schwinn Womens' Link (Model number S5361WMA via Walmart). In order to register the bike, I have to find the serial number. That being said, I did FIND the serial number, located underneath. However, the smart manufacturer printed it sideways, that is, underneath the brake lines, with a black piece covering the number.
So the questions:
1) Is there a way to determine the serial number without removing the brake line?
2) What is the safest way to go about moving the line, should I need to?
Thanks.
