I hate my period. Should I go on birth control? My friend is on the pill and she said it's great, and that it really makes her period lighter, & I think she said shorter too. Also, I have a little bit of acne. Nothing major, but I heard birth control gets rid of acne? Myth or fact? Lastly, does birth control make you gain or loose weight? I've heard both. I typed this question into the search bar and found that Tri-Cyclen Lo is supposed to be good for acne. Ever heard of it? Buttt I don't want my mom to think I'm having sex. I'm almost 16, but I'm saving myself for marriage. I've also heard birth control is bad for you. Soo, any answers? Thanks.
