Making a video on Windows Movie Maker from my iPod?

The ratio of the original video is 16:9 (16 being height, 9 being width). I had to upload it and download it from YouTube to get it in WMV format, but now it looks distorted on the screen. Like it smushed my video down in height so it just looks... weird. How do I fix this?
