A kitchen knife was not designed to kill children or people but it can.

anyways, plz watch this video to show how dumb and sexist Biddens comments were

Women Takes Joe Biden's Advice and Buys Shotguns, Hilarity Ensues! - YouTube

Mr. Obamahypocrite sends his kids to a school where 11 armed guards constantly patrol

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/12/23/School-Obama-s-Daughters-Attend-Has-11-Armed-Guards-Not-Counting-Secret-Service

Not to mention many other politicians send their kids there

Biden said something stupid (fire two warning shots with a double-barreled shotgun), but nothing sexist. What's sexist is the collection of "shotgun fails" featuring only women, suggesting women aren't strong enough or smart enough to know how to fire a shotgun. Shotguns can be effectively used by both genders and can knock idiots of both genders on their butts.

One of the best trap shooters at my club is a woman who appears to weigh perhaps 120 lbs.

Obama's not calling for a total gun ban--to the contrary he supports police in schools--so there's nothing hypocritical about his kids attending a school with guards.

You see that, right there. That's one of the stupidest things you will ever write.

If you're going to parrot nutjob talking points, at least make it one of the crazy ones.

From Obama's 23 Executive actions on gun control:

He supports armed security for schools. So there is NOTHING hypocritical about his kids attending a school with armed security. The hypocrisy claim comes from people advancing the straw man argument that he wants to abolish guns, which he is NOT trying to do.

Oh ok. I was mistaken then. Too much Utube.

I agree with armed gaurds / police at our schools

Man arrested for 2x4 labeled "High Powered Rifle"

He wants to restrict our ability to defend our self's and our families while he has and will have armed body guards for the same thing.

What are the odds of you or your kids being targeted for assasination or kidnaping?

What are the Obama's?

Man arrested for 2x4 labeled "High Powered Rifle"

What are his odds of having his home broken into or him or his family being assaulted? (It's happen to me and yes I have used a firearm to protect myself and my family).

I'm more then willing to bet my chances are better then his especially seeing he has professorial bodyguards.

I don't begrudge him his protection why should he begrudge me mine when I have so little compared to him.

Breaking news: technology just made gun bans obsolete. Now that anyone can get themselves whatever they want with a 3D printer, no background checks and no restrictions as the seller level, trying to stop murderers from murdering by banning the sales of particular firearms at gun stores or outdoors stores seems pretty ineffective.

DefDist Printed AR Lower - Part III - YouTube

3D-printed AR-15 fires over 600 rounds without mechanical failure

What makes you so bad a shooter that you need heavy ordinance to deal with a home invasion?

He is NOT about banning guns or gun ownership - how many ways can that be spelled out to you?

My Glock 22 is capable of dealing with any home invader - it's a nonsense argument to use the "bigger is better" approach in home defence

Now if you are facing a bear...well that's different

The only sorts of hardware ban that Obama is proposing are (1) high-capacity magazines and (2) modern sporting rifles (aka "assault weapons"). I don't support the latter ban, but regardless, neither are particularly well-suited to "defending your family" like OldShadow talked about. Shotguns and handguns are much better self-defense weapons than a 5.56mm rifle.

Man arrested for 2x4 labeled "High Powered Rifle"

Yep...well if you have 30,000 to spend on a printer that is

Also it is only a part of the gun NOT an actual gun...you still need the AR-15 in the first place. The printed gun is conceptually interesting but not even a factor right now

Printers will come down in price. Regardless, the point is, an "assault weapons ban" looks mighty ineffective when you can comletely ignore its provisions for the cost of a 3D printer.

The lower is the only part that's considered a "firearm" under US law (background checks, FFL license to sell, etc) and is the part where essentially all of the complicated moving parts are. You can get a stock, barrel, and magazine easily, since they're considered "parts" and not "firearms." Also, they're easy to fabricate. The lower, not the barrel or the stock or the magazine, was always the main barrier to homemade firearms.

So no, you don't already have to own a traditionally-manufactured AR-15 in order to use this. You just need this and a few parts (either printed or purchased) to attach to it, and you have a fully-functional AR-15.

If we're going to be able to make our own assault weapons in 5-10 years then all the more reason to ban them now to minimise the deaths in the meantime.

Can a 3D printer make bullets?

Man arrested for 2x4 labeled "High Powered Rifle"

It's still more noise than substance - the second it becomes more than "Tomorrow's World" then it deserves more attention. As it stands it is more of a political point than a practical alternative

The massive police dragnet needed to take America's best-selling rifle (the AR-15) out of the hands of Americans, just for a five-year-period, when such weapons only account for 2% of firearms homicides? Doesn't sound like an efficient use of government resources to me.

Put half that money towards anti-gang measures and you'll probably save tens or hundreds of times as many lives in that five-year period. If you save any lives at all by cracking down on "assault weapons"/"modern sporting rifles."

You don't need a 3D printer to make bullets. It's called "hand-loading" or "reloading" and it's commonplace. I don't reload, I use factory ammo, but plenty of people I know reload because it's more economical than using factory ammo.

Cracking down on ammunition is also the single worst way to prevent mass shootings. You need only one bullet to kill one person, and a few dozen for a large-scale massacre. Legitimate gun owners need hundreds or thousands. I go through a hundred rounds per week and I'm a casual trap shooter. When Olympian Kim Rhode is training for the Olympic Games, she goes through 1,000 rounds per day, seven days per week.

Who is going to be inconvenienced by restrictions on large-volume ammo purchases? Not the murderers.

Actually I mostly use my stub nose .357.

However Obama get this why shouldn't I get a semi AR.

The issue with the Fire Extinguisher Ownership and Gun Ownership is the same.

If anyone should start something that endangers life, BOTH can be used to stop the action.

Both can be useless if it gets out of control

But only one cannot kill if you let it off "by accident"
