Our family wants to do a 7 night cruise out of Los Angeles down to Mexico. We've been on the Royal Carribbean Mariner of the Seas and loved it. Now we're thinking of trying a different ship because we've seen everything on Mariner, but the only other one going down to Mexico may be Carnival's Splendor. It looks good but we would like some input, recommendations, and advice from people who have been on this ship and done this trip. BTW, we're not a wild bunch, there will be two of us in our 60s, two in our 50s, two in our 30s, two teen girls, and two toddlers. So a wide range of ages in our family group. Thanks!
