I was wondering if anyone knows if the Microsoft HD DVD player is also functions as a DVD upconverter? Despite the fact that HD DVD has been phased out, if the player upscales regular DVD's to a higher resolution, I think the HD DVD player would be useful in that respect. If anyone has any extensive knowledge about the Microsoft HD DVD player, your opinion would be most helpful.
