Mid 20s guys syndrome?

What is this syndrome of commitment/relationship repelling that guys at mid 20s have? Pls explain to me cuz I just don't get it

What syndrome, marriage is like a life sentence with no sex. so one has to think about it many many times before
 
fear of getting older and settling down..just being honest, I've been there myself..and I'm now single because of it
 
I think guys are afraid girls are dependent on them emotionally or *itches.

Apparently, if you are selective about the guy and are straightforward and honest with him, and not controlling and too convincing, guys actually do want a relationship. that's what i hear. check out the source below, it's a good book about this topic.
