I was involved in a fender bender. We pulled over and assesed the damage. There was actually no visible damage to either vehicle. I took a picture of his car that shows there is no damage. We did not call the police, but exchanged Name, Phone # and Tag#.

Recently, over 5 weeks later, I recieved a voice message from the other party, saying that they would like to discuss the damage and the paint chipping from their vehicle.

This sounds a little fishy to me, so before I make any calls, I am trying to figure out the best way to handle this.

I am looking for any suggestions, reccomendations, experiences or advice.

Thank You In Advance.

Contact your insurance company. Tell them what happened. Send them the pictures. Let them handle everything. They are the experts at handling these situations.

Dont go their tryin to deceive you since they left a voice message pretend that u didnt get it and since there is no damage the ur on the right page

It looks like the party your conferencing is a fraud, or they may just be tricking you.
You said you had pictures of the car and plate number?
Great! You can take this to court.
I know this sounds silly but it would be over in literally minutes.
I onece got into a car accident and the guy that hit us said his car was fine(at the time).
Just to be sure we took pictures and the police officer that came over to help us watched the whole thing.
The day of court, when the guy filed a report, we just showed the judge the picture, the plate number, and the driver number. We were let out for recess and then we were judged no liability.
If you don't want to get all sticky just go up to the party who crashed into you and ask them what happened to the car. Just so you know the court will count that 5 weeks have passed. That's a lot of time to file a report about a car crash.

Good Luck,
M.
