Monitor (LG Flatron Widescreen) Keeps shifting a bit to the left...?

As title states my monitor on my desktop and in game will randomly shift to the left cutting off a bit of the icon text... but then shift back...sometimes...and then i have to hit auto/set and it fixes it...but i hope i dont have to do this every time.

I am hoping that you guys will help me solve this issue that is plaguing me.
