I just bought a second (well probably fifth) hand scooter, and although it runs fine when you use the kick-start, the electric start simply doesn't work.
I know if I want that to work I just need to replace the battery, but until I can afford that, I still need to get the MOT done on it. So I'm wondering, can it pass its MOT if it only turns on with the kick-start?
