I have a Motorola Arix 4G
Provider is Straight Talk (ATT Phone however)
My Problem:
About two weeks ago my phone's WiFi turned itself off, when I tried to turn it on after a few seconds it said error and then it restarted my phone. Now my phone loads and tries to turn it off and thus it restarts anywhere between 10 sec - 3 1/2 min depending on what I do.
When I set my phone to airplane mode it does still restart, but when it restarts wifi is off so it does not restart.
I tried everything to fix the wifi problem so now I just accept it is a hardware problem and want to forgo using my wifi, however I can not use my phone without airplane mode off which then sets wifi to turn back on along with my mobile network.
Is there a way to prevent wifi from turning on or to turn it off?
Note: When I try to turn wifi off while it is trying to turn itself on does nothing as it is unresponsive and will eventually load error and restart.

It works now, I found the code for reloading the driver and now it works...so I guess it was not a hardware problem...*#*#526#*#* <--code that worked
