I became a Muslim last month(ex-Orthodox Trinitarian), and I already asked my bf about this and he told me Satan in Islam was a Jinn(being of fire) who refused to bow down to Adam, so he was labeled Satan.
But on a site I read he was an angel. I would normally believe my bf because so far he hasn't been wrong on anything he has told me, but I just want to be sure.
Is/was Satan an angel or jinn in Islam?
Thank You, and Allah bless
And provide proof please I would say >=0
"you can never be an ex-christian if you were a 'christian' in the first place."
Excuse me? I was born Christian, raised Christian, and now have left Christianity(but my mother doesn't know). What are you saying?
"You're not a christian if you didn't accept Jesus as your personal lord and savior. Just because your family is a christian, it didn't make you a christian. So you're never a christian in the first place."
Are you that stupid? I was always a Christian. Born Christian, raised going to the Church, etc. I used to have Jesus' pictures on my computer, phone, everywhere. I used to wear the cross(which I later sunk in the ocean). I used to go to church and follow Jesus and Christianity.
All this until I turned 18, and became my Muslim friend's girlfriend. Thats when I left Christianity, doesn't meant I never was a Christian in practice.
At M.J. Shmuely :
How can you say I was never a believer when I, until last month, was ready to shed blood for Christ? I was ready to die for Christ until last month.
Last month is when everything changed. So are you then saying, despite my love for Jesus, he lead me on the wrong path and had me leave Christianity? What kind of God is that then?
