Muslims; who is Satan in Islam? (I'm ex-Christian, so it's different views).?

I became a Muslim last month(ex-Orthodox Trinitarian), and I already asked my bf about this and he told me Satan in Islam was a Jinn(being of fire) who refused to bow down to Adam, so he was labeled Satan.

But on a site I read he was an angel. I would normally believe my bf because so far he hasn't been wrong on anything he has told me, but I just want to be sure.

Is/was Satan an angel or jinn in Islam?

Excuse me? I was born Christian, raised Christian, and now have left Christianity(but my mother doesn't know). What are you saying?

Are you that stupid? I was always a Christian. Born Christian, raised going to the Church, etc. I used to have Jesus' pictures on my computer, phone, everywhere. I used to wear the cross(which I later sunk in the ocean). I used to go to church and follow Jesus and Christianity.

All this until I turned 18, and became my Muslim friend's girlfriend. Thats when I left Christianity, doesn't meant I never was a Christian in practice.

Last month is when everything changed. So are you then saying, despite my love for Jesus, he lead me on the wrong path and had me leave Christianity? What kind of God is that then?

To be a christian, you have to accept Jesus Christ, did you accept him? I don't think so. You just followed your family, told what to do. You're the one who is stupid.
 
Being a True Christian is having a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ. IF you were a True Christian then you would have never left the True Faith for a false faith. One is not born a Christian you become one by the confession of your heart.



If the Good News(Gospel) we preach is veiled from anyone, it is a sign that they are perishing. satan, the' g-d 'of this evil world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe, so they are unable to see the Glorious Light of the Good News(the Gospel) that is shining upon them. They don't understand the message we preach about the Glory of Christ, Who is the exact likeness of G-d. 2nd Cor. 4:3-4

EDIT: What I am saying is that had you really had a true conversion to Christianity and understanding of the Gospel then you wouldn't want to leave it for islam which is a false faith based upon lies and garbled truths. The 'isa (Jesus) of the qur'an is NOT the Y'shua (Jesus) of the Bible. The Quran is full of errors and inconsistencies which I am willing to discuss at great length.
 
Whats with all these idiots? She asked a SIMPLE question and you start preaching about how "wrong" she is. Get something better to do than harass people for believing in something different than you.

And yes he is and Angel. Don't pay attention to these guys. They're just idiots with nothing better to do.
