turn of my car!!!!! Pleas Help? I have a 1991 Honda Accord that has some miles on it and was driving my car the other day and I bumped my car key(while the key was still in the ignition and car was running) and it turned off will it was still in drive(everything shut off)I was able to start the car up with no problem, but when i parked my car and went into the gas station and turned off my car and put the emergency break on. And then when I got back into my car to leave I turned on my car no problem and took my emergency break off, the emergency break light stayed on.

Then when I put my car in gear the light still stayed on. So then I try to turn the car off and it wouldn't. I tried to wiggle the key to turn it to the off position and then the key came out will in drive, but the ignition was stuck in the on position and the car stayed on!!!

Also when ever I would try and put it back in park it would make a scratching noise, as it you were trying to turn the key on will the car is turning.

So i popped the hood and pulled the battery wires of the battery and put it in park and the car turned off. It will start up when i put the wires back on.

BUT I JUST CANT MOVE THE IGNITION KEY TO OFF!!! someone please help me!

sounds like you need a mechanic to see what needs to be fixed. Could be a lot of things from ignition switch steering column to transmission safety switch.
