My blue ray players picture is clear?

Ive been watching blue ray movies on my ps3 and have noticed that the picture is kind of fuzzy in the background please help I thought that picture would be perfect especially if it's blue ray and I'm using hdmi cables. My tv's a flat screen vivo

Try adjusting the settings in the tv menu. The blu ray should give you a 1080p video but you don't tell us what your vivo flat screen tv is capable of.
