My brother has hidden a file on the computer, how do I find it?

I know, he`s horrible.
He`s taken away my Combat Arms.

My brother has announced, that his concealment of the file can never be found.
And frankly, ATM I believe him.
I`m tried search and it`s failed D:

He says hidden it in a hidden folder.
I know it`s to still there because it`s too dear for him to uninstall.

I need to find this thing D:>

How do I find this file?
 
he probably changed the icon to blank, and used a 1 letter for the name

go to recent files and stuff on the comp easy as that
 
To enable the viewing of Hidden files follow these steps:

Close all programs so that you are at your desktop.
Double-click on the My Computer icon.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
After the new window appears select the View tab.
Put a checkmark in the checkbox labeled Display the contents of system folders.
Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files and folders.
Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide file extensions for known file types.
Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files.
Press the Apply button and then the OK button and shutdown My Computer.
Now your computer is configured to show all hidden files.



If you don't see it, hes pulling your chain... you can't hide a file forever without the "delete" button, and even then... it can be retrieved.
 
if you have any idea under what category he put it, open command prompt and go to that category and type attrib -h. this will show any hidden files and unhide them. if you find it and want to hide it again just type attrib +h.
