and not knowing much, I want to know if the rear brakes have brake pads or only the front does?
 
Depending on the year of the car. Around 2001 car manufactures started changing to all pads. 2000 and older will have both pads and drums.
 
jack it up remove tire cant miss one will have a drum or if its dish pretty much look behind wheel and tell it could have both you can go to autozone website type in your info get a parts price and a how to replace it really easy my wife does her own brake jobs since i show her how you can also type into search box
