Hah yep. We've been married one year since yesterday and we celebrated and each bought an anniversary present for the other. I bought him something he's been wanting for years, and he was ecstatic. His present for me is a different story... he bought a flatscreen tv.. to hang on our bedroom wall. Seems like he bought it for himself, because I don't even like watching TV especially in bed when I'm strictly in there for two things, and watching television is not one of those.
I tried not to make a big deal because I didn't want to start a fight on our special day. I just told him that something more thoughtful would have been nice. I'm not demanding a new anniversary gift or anything... but blah. I'm just disappointed and feel as though he's not taking this seriously.
What do you think? Am I over reacting?
