MY IBOOK G4 WONT LOAD UP PASS THE APPLE SCREEN WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I turned on ibook and it came on but didnt load up pass the white screen with the Apple in the middle of the screen. it looked like it was still loading. It did that for at least an hour and then i tried it again same thing i tried it about 5 times and nothing worked.
 
So I thought Macs never have problems which is why they are so expensive.

Try to boot from your recovery DVD to restore everything to factory defaults.
 
Try reset the PRAM
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Also you can try rebooting with your original DVD.
