My left, alt,ctrl, and shift key won't work? (Mac)?

Please help, I don't know what the problem is..
The laptop is fairly new, and i want to know if theres any way i can get it fixed without taking it to a shop to be repaired, My dad is going to go crazy if he has to pay a huge amount of money.
Will best buy charge alot for me to get that done ?

Well, if it is under warranty, I'd send it out to be repaired, but the problem sounds like something got spilled on it, and if so, it needs to go to the shop to be cleaned to work properly, or you can do it yourself if you are good with tearing things apart and putting them back together. to clean it yourself, clean all contaminated surfaces with rubbing alcohol on a soft lint-free cloth and then dry it with a dry soft lint-free cloth and reassemble it carefully and the keys will work again. Just make sure the computer is off, unplugged, and the battery removed before doing this as if you don't, you could fry sensitive electronics inside of it.
