My nissan's 240sx fan( ac, heat, etc..) won't work?

I have a Nissan 240 SX. My fan won't blow hot, cold,..any air. BUT when i hit or kick the blower motor under the glove box on the passenger's side it begins to work again perfectly for a few seconds. What could be wrong? and how do i fix it? Thanks

Fan motor under the glove box is worn out. Replace it with either a new one,or one from auto salvage yard, That is about the only places you can get one.





Had the same on my car- would only run at highest setting. Replaced it and it worked at speed 1;2;3;High
