my parents are opposed to my religion, what can i do?

Hi, my problem is that my parents are opposed to my religion (wicca), every weekend i go to the forest where im alone, and i practice witchcraft, but this weekend it was raining, sooooo i practized at home then my parents caught me, and now i´m grounded for three months........... ( this is like the third time it happens to me) what can i do???

As long as you are a minor and dependent upon your parents for your support, you are basically stuck with having to go along with their desires. This question is commonly asked by teens who want to break away from their parent's religion and there isn't a whole lot you can do while you are living at home.

The best you can do is to accept their role as your parents and guardians, whether you appreciate it or not. Until you move out on your own, you are basically stuck with the situation.

Sorry that I don't have a better answer, but that's the way this society is put together.

use witch craft against them?? im pretty sure it won't work but you can try lol. or you can believe there is only one God and jesus mohammad job moses, etc were his messengers. and that you will be judged according to how you lived. and that each soul shall taste death. and that your wealth will not make you live forever.

I know how you feel, we of the Wicca are in early days, many many people still think we are satanic, others will think it's bad your not Christian.

First thing is to get them away from the idea that we Witches are Satanic.
Emphasize we are of dual deity, God and Goddess as was the case before Christianity, Islam et al, perhaps you can obtain a professionally prepared document for them to read on what we are and what we are not. The Pagan Federation here in Britain produced a very good one that impressed members of my family. you could show this webpage by them on the topic of Paganism, which all Witches are....
