My PS3 has been very quiet but now it has been pretty loud from the fan part should

I be worried? It plays everything just fine but when i start it up its quiet but like 30 minutes in it starts to become louder until i can hear it. Should I send it in for repair or is it nothing to worry about because I would rather not send it in.
