strange meows tonight.? My two year old cat whom is overweight and meows quite a bit has started having strange meows tonight. She sounds like she is trying to meow and it comes out as a cough or a very weak cracking meow. The look on her face when she is doing these meows seems like she is in pain of some sort or very upset that she can't meow right. She is also wheezing quite a bit more than normal and she keeps licking her lips like her mouth is dry.
I have seen her eat, drink, and play since I noticed this (about an hour ago). I have not noticed her puking at all. I tried to check her throat to see if anything was blocking anything but I couldn't see very much as she was fighting me.
I am concerned there is something very wrong with her. She hasn't really had any heath problems ever.
