So basically the only thing your Uncle gave you was a PS3 shell with everything else either not given or broken am I right? Contact Sony and see if they can fix the PS3... Then go out there and buy a controller.. If Sony asks exorbitant amount (like 150-200$), it's better to sell it and buy a new one (since you will pay 60$ for controller and extra 10-20 for power cord)... You can buy a new PS3 for 299$..
