My wife doesn't want me to meet up with an old female friend from school?

I don't understand this, she was my friend when I was like 14 and she asked me on fb if we could meet up, my wife after I told her about it said she doesn't want me to.

Should I go anyway, I don't think my wife should hen peck me as much, we are only 22.
I have no sexual attraction to my friend the fact she has a vagina shouldn't be the deciding factor in who I can talk too, she wouldn't care is my friend was a he.
 
Many marriages have ended because of FB. This is the scenario, you meet an old friend from school or work. Then you meet up, you talk, you socialize, and then you stay connected. Some can handle, but others get emotionally tied to these old friends. No one, including you, can say what will happen.

I would encourage your wife to be apart of the whole thing, and then don't stay connected. Let her be friends, but don't talk a whole lot if at all. Just meet every so often and becareful, because what you can do, your wife can do, and part of the reason I am divorced now is that my Ex met up with her old friend from High School. Seems they had unfinished business, and I did not say anything until it was too late.

Not to scare, but there are consequences with re-connecting, or getting tied to others.
 
Dont' know what to say really. My husband unfortunatly has the same feelings when I talk to anything with a penis. Maybe you can take you wife with you? Other then that do nice things for her in the days to come that will show her that she means so much to you.
 
Don't be a fool. If you go you are asking for trouble.

Do you love your wife? Or are you willing to upset her alot just to see an "old friend".
