Can I view a Blue ray disc in my DVD player? Do I need a Blue ray player? How much better will the picture be? Can I put a DVD in a Blue ray player?

What is the advantage of the DVD/Blue ray combo pack? Why do people want both? Don't people have one or the other kind of player?

Blu ray is much better then a DVD, imo, you can get a blu ray player sort of cheap now, but hey, if you have no playstation 3, go buy one, PlayStation 3 have blu ray players, and they can also play a normal dvd, as well as PlayStation games, its worth the money,

also DVD can easily be played in a Blu-ray player,

and the capacity of blu ray dvds are much greater then a normal dvd,

Blu-ray on DVD player, no. You need a Blu-Ray player. PQ on an HDTV is much better. On an SDTV you won't notice the benefit.

DVD on a Blu-Ray player, yes you can do.

People sometimes have other DVD only players in their house, or as a portable, or plan on a BLu-Ray player, so get the Combo pack.

I believe you can't use a Blu-Ray disc in a regular Dvd Player.
Blu Ray movies are pretty nice but me personally i do not think it's worth paying the extra money for the movies. Blu-Ray movies are about 40 dollars.
You can put regular Dvd's in Blu-Ray player. But the picture quality isn't the same because it's a regular Dvd.
Hope i helped!
