Okay, I have:
1. ATT DSL with a SpeedStream 5100 Modem
2. A Linksys Etherfast WIRED router ( model: BEFSR41)
3. A 40Gig Sony PS3
Basically, I bought the router from craigslist for $15 bucks. Pretty much I have all 3 items hook up correctly. The interent goes to the DSL modem then out to the Linksys Wired router where it splits Port #1 to my CPU and Port #2 to the PS3.
Problem: It doesn't route! I can ONLY use the Computer OR the PS3, I cannot use BOTH at the same time. Which pretty much defeats the pupose of buying the damn router in the first place.
I think that both the computer and PS3 is logging onto the (WAN PPPnO). I tried various options in the PS3 to configure it and even try to do it Manually.
* Can someone please help me Configure my PS3 (manually) with all that DNS and IP Addres and Primary DNS and Secondary and all that good stuff.
* I tried all the "auto" and "easy" configurations but the end result is the same, I can only use 1 or the 2 internet at the same time.
*I even tried to Download that BEFSR41 FIRMWARE thing, but I couldn't open the file because it was a .BIN file.
