I have a dvd burner and I have used it to burn my home videos on to a dvd so that I have them for a long time to come and not have to loose them by having the tape getting eaten by the dam old VCR player like I know a buch of people have had happen to them at least one time in there life time if they owned a VCR player. Now I also know that you can burn regular DVDs on my burner as well because I have done that as well because my son went off to college and he wanted to take with him some DVDs so instead of letting him take them all so the family back home could use them as well we burned him cop yes to he has them as well as the rest of the family, Now my aunt bough for the family this past easter a blue ray dvd burner because where she works she gets a employee discount so she used it to buy that for our family. I would just like to know now since we have the blue ray dvd burner can you use that to burn playstation 3 videos games on it so that I can make a back up copy of my sons games so that if he was to damage the disk or something was to happen to it we will have a copy to go off from. Also I herd I might have to buy a soft ware to do this but also herd I don't have to so if I need one could you please tell me what one I would need and if so where can I buy it and for how much or if I can download a free copy of it off line since I know almost everything is some where on line for free
